Derby LIVE and Little Wolf Entertainment’s 2024 panto Cinderella has been nominated in two categories at the UK Pantomime Association’s annual awards.

Mina Anwar, who played the Fairy Godmother, is up for the Carmen Silvera award for best magical being, while Morgan Brind and Roddy Peters are nominated as best sisters.

Cinderella was Derby’s highest-grossing panto as well as the best-attended panto in Derby Arena’s history.

Little Wolf received five more nominations including best pantomime in a venue of between 500 and 900 seats for Snow White at Loughborough Town Hall.

Brind and Alan Bowles from Derby-based Little Wolf Entertainment said, “we’re so delighted to be nominated for these awards. We had such a wonderful time bringing Cinderella to so many people and it’s rewarding to see the team’s efforts recognised nationally.”

Winners of the awards will be announced on Sunday 13 April at a ceremony at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking.
