Finding Joy

Unity Theatre in Liverpool has three distinct shows coming up later in April.

21st century theatre meets 16th century culture in a new show exploring a Renaisance master in a music and dance show Michelangelo Drawing Blood on April 27

Finding Joy on April 24-25 is about memory, ageing, love, and Joy. She is creative, funny, loves to dance, and is losing her memory: her grandson Danny is rebellious, fearless, bright, and always getting into trouble. When Danny decides to become her carer, where will their unexpected and playful bond lead them?

Mind The Gap from April 30 to May 1 is wrapped around Nina, a young Liverpool woman on a London tube carriage. When the carriage shudders to a halt, it's obvious something serious has happened. Pimento Theatre invites you to immerse yourself and experience the character's external and internal thoughts and watch as their interlocking stories unravel.
