Birmingham’s New Alexandra Theatre is looking for a talented pooch for a starring role in its major summer production.
The venue needs to fill the role of Sandy in this year’s Stage Experience show Annie.
Doggy auditions will be held on Saturday 3 August and the show will be performed from Wednesday until Saturday, 21 to 25 August.
Andrew Lister, general manager of the New Alexandra Theatre, said, “We are always on the look-out for new talent for Stage Experience—and animals are no exception.”
Stage Experience offers young talent from across the West Midlands the chance to work with a professional production team and perform with a live orchestra on a full set on the New Alexandra stage.
