Dominic West will take to the Ustinov Studio stage in Bath next February for just 23 performances in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. The BAFTA-winner will portray Eddie Carbone from February 16 to March 9, 2024.
Set in 1950s New York in an Italian-American neighbourhood, Miller's Tony-award-winning play explores Carbone's lust and jealously of his niece Catherine as she falls in love with somebody else.
The production is directed by Lindsay Posner, who was at the helm for the 2009 West End revival which starred Ken Stott and Hayley Atwell, for which all three were nominated for an Olivier Award.
Already announced for the Ustinov next year, with Posner also directing, is a Harold Pinter double-header The Lover / The Collection starring David Morrissey and Matthew Horne, as well as Terrence Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea starring Tamsin Greig.
Tickets are on sale now for Associate Members and available on Saturday 25 November for Friends Members. Tickets to the general public can be booked from Saturday 2 December.
