The National Trust and Facing North Theatre present an open-air piece of pocket Shakespeare (June 22–24), a bite-sized adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed for the first time against Manchester’s urban skyline on the Trust’s Castlefield Viaduct.
Taking place in the days prior to and upon Midsummer, it’s a unique backdrop for a beloved comedy.
Only 40 people per performance will be able to attend, with five performances over three days, including matinée and evening shows. Outdoor seating is provided.
The production lasts one hour and is recommended for ages 18+.
