A riotous production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Matthew Dunster and Jimmy Fairhurst, will be the first Shakespeare-inspired production to be staged on the Cockpit stage at new venue Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot, Merseyside.

Featuring the voice of David Morrissey as Oberon, it also has Mercury nominated singer-songwriter Nadine Shah making her theatre debut in the role of Titania.

This production of one of Shakespeare’s best-loved plays is the first collaboration between Shakespeare North Playhouse, Not Too Tame and Northern Stage.

Running from September 22–October 22.
