Manchester production company Tightrope Productions Limited is bringing two singalong shows to The DriveINSIDE Theatre in the city.
The venue, in the heart of the city’s theatre scene, opposite Home and behind Manchester Central and The Bridgewater Hall, will be COVID-compliant and provides an immersive experience for 800 people and seating for all, covered by Europe’s largest megatent.
Managing director of Tightrope Daniel Wood said, “the two shows are Power Ballads Live! that packed the O2 Ritz last year and features a 16-piece band and four rock vocalists; and a brand-new production, Queen by Candlelight.”
Joel Harper-Jackson, a Manchester-based actor who recently starred in the Kinky Boots UK Tour as Charlie Price, is co-producer and performing in both shows. He will be joined by West End stars Rory Taylor (Rent, Thriller Live), Simon Gordon (Bat Out of Hell, Girl From The North Country) and Sandra Regan.
Queen by Candlelight will take place on October 2 and 3. Power Ballads Live! is on October 9.
