A family-friendly production of live comedy and variety from Britain’s Got Talent stars comes to Manchester’s DriveINSIDE venue in Medlock Street on October 3.
Lost Voice Guy, Ben Hart, Daliso Chaponda, Steve Royle and Nabil Abdul Rashid will feature inside the giant tent theatre.
DriveINSIDE Theatre is reckoned to be the world’s first undercover drive-in theatre.
Each car will be allocated its own marked area at a safe distance from the next group. LED screens hung over the stage relay performances and a full PA rig will ensure everyone will see and hear performances.
Anyone wishing to sit outside their vehicle is welcome to bring folding chairs, or there is a hire facility on site. Safety and hygiene will be paramount which includes regular cleaning of on-site toilets and touch surfaces.
UPDATE: The company has subsequently issued a statement to say, “it is with huge disappointment that, following the recommendation of Manchester Council’s Specialist Environmental Team, we have had to to postpone our October programme of shows in the city until March 2021."
