Jane Horrocks in East is East

Go East young man... and you could become a star of a West End production.

Jamie Lloyd Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group are looking for a young, male actor of Pakistani or Pakistani/Caucasian mixed-heritage appearance to play the role of Sajit Khan, the youngest member of the Khan family, in their new stage production of East is East.

He will play opposite Jane Horrocks, who takes the role of Ella Khan.

Naturally a keen interest in performance is necessary and they should be available to move to London, for an overall commitment from 1 September 2014 to 3 January 2015.

Applicants must be 16 or over, 5 foot 7 inches in height or under and have a very youthful appearance and a native or flawless Manchester accent.
