The Empathy Experiment

Theatregoers are invited to set their phones to one side for an hour to explore technology’s effect upon compassion when spoken word show The Empathy Experiment arrives at The Dukes in Lancaster February 27.

Asking if mobile phones are to blame, the Edinburgh Fringe favourite follows poet and self-ascribed test subject Rose Condo as she embarks on the final hour of her experiment: a Day of No Mobile Phones.

Combining visuals and eloquence, Rose tries to capture data, record findings, navigate digital withdrawal and prove empathy can be saved.
