The Enough Project, a double-bill of new plays from leading Northern voices, seeks answers to the question ‘what is enough?’
It’s the starting point for works directed by Alan Lane (Slung Low Theatre Company) coming to The Lowry in Salford June 20-22.
Something Right by Cathy Crabb (from Salford), and Brimming by Emma Adams (Bradford), brings together for the first time some of the most interesting talents currently working in theatre writing and producing in the region.
The double-bill presents two contrasting, complimentary 45-minute plays, each with the same four-person cast.
The work is produced by Dep Arts, developed with The Lowry’s Developed with The Lowry initiative.
Each play wrestles with consumer capitalism, the earth’s dwindling resources and what it means to have enough, both in personal relationships and society as a whole.
