Murray Lachlan Young tours his family theatre show and virtual reality experience The Mystery of the Raddlesham Mumps this spring.

The writer, broadcaster and BBC 6 Poet in Residence will be kicking-off the tour at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick on February 26 before taking the show to venues across the country. The tour concludes on May 31 at Brighton Fringe Festival.

It’s aimed at lovers of Harry Potter, Lemony Snicket and The Brothers Grimm. Taking the form of an epic-poem, Lachlan Young uses music, costume, staging and fellow funnyman Joe Allen to tell the story of the show’s young hero, Crispin de Quincy de Faversham Clumps.
