Liverpool's new Epstein Theatre will hold an open day on 19 September, the anniversary of Brian Epstein's birth, for the public to look around the £1m restoration of the former Neptune Theatre.

The building will be open from 10AM to 7PM offering music from the Merseybeat era and free tea and coffee in Brian's Bar, plus discounts for bookings made in person for new musical Epstein: The Man Who Made The Beatles starring Andrew Lancel and the panto Cinderella starring Sonia, Philip Olvier, Nikki Grahame and Simon Greening.

Epstein general manager Rebekah Pichilingi said, "We would like to welcome everybody down to have a look around this gem of a theatre on a very special day for us. This will be the first of our annual events for Brian’s birthday."
