“Powerful, insightful and wickedly funny”, Katori Hall’s Olivier Award-winning play The Mountaintop comes to Manchester Royal Exchange in a new production with Ntombizodwa Ndlovu as Camae and ’Tomiwa Edun as Dr. King.
Featuring a deceptively simple premise—two people in a motel room—it reveals more than at first appears. Race and class, gender and politics, leadership and responsibility are exposed, intimacies laid bare, and narratives reclaimed.
The Mountaintop runs from September 25 to October 27.
The Exchange continues to operate under reduced capacity. Five fully socially distanced shows will remain in place.
