Fans of things that go bump in the night will have a treat in the New Year as Liverpool Playhouse will be staging a late night performance of its psychological thriller The Haunting of Hill House.
The special one-off performance will start at 9PM and finish close to the witching hour on Friday January 8.
The production is a collaboration with Sonia Friedman Productions and Hammer to create the first major UK stage adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s novel, which became the legendary horror movie The Haunting in 1963.
