Fairy tale opportunity for youngsters in Coventry

Youngsters are being offered a chance to take part in balletLORENT's Rapunzel

balletLORENT is taking its new version of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rapunzel to Warwick Arts Centre, Coventry and is looking for youngsters aged between six and 16 to take part.

Those successful at an audition will make up the young cast for the production and will join the eight-strong team of balletLORENT’s professional dancers onstage.

Liv Lorent, the company’s artistic director, says, “We’re looking for boys and girls with lots of energy who enjoy being creative. You don’t necessarily have to have any dance experience—we’re looking for people with plenty of enthusiasm who’ll be comfortable with the challenge of performing on stage.”

Rapunzel will visit Warwick Arts Centre from Thursday until Saturday, 29 to 31 May.
