Aladdin at Liverpool Playhouse

Rock ‘n’ roll panto Aladdin is set to be magical Christmas family experience as Liverpool Playhouse and Littlewoods.com join up in a fairy tale partnership.

Aladdin is at the Williamson Square venue from November 29 to January 18.

Gary Kibble, retail brand director at Littlewoods.com, said: “The rock ‘n’ roll panto is a much loved Liverpool institution and we are thrilled to be sponsoring it for the first time this year.

"Supporting Aladdin was an ideal opportunity to help bring some festive fun and cheer to families across the city.”

Heading that cast are audience favourites Adam Keast as the Genie, and Liverpool’s infamous Panto Dame Francis Tucker as Widow Twanky!

Marianne Benedict and Griffin Stevens reprise their dastardly double act from last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk as Empress Morgana and the Dark Lord, while the returning Aretha Ayeh and Carla Freeman cast a spell as Twinks and Princess Willow.

Sam Haywood plays Aladdin and will be joined by Matthew Ganley, Sarah Moss and Lindsay Goodhand.
