Origins at The Lowry

Retracing the bloody steps of the world’s first murderer; Manchester based physical theatre company Animikii Theatre premières Origins in The Studio at The Lowry, April 28-29.

Based on the story of Cain and Abel, it confronts faith, death and immortality.

Manchester based Adam Davies trained at Arden School of Theatre before meeting Henry McGrath on the experimental and innovative RADA course, the MA Theatre Lab, in 2013. Since then, the pair have continued their research-based physical training and began to develop a theatrical style of their own.

Encompassing Animikii Theatre’s own style of multiple movement languages, acrobatics, and combat the production offers a sensory and cinematic experience.
