The Many Mishaps of Mr Vinegar

The Preston Tringe festival, which opens on Friday, has a number of family-friendly events taking place across the city in September.

The city’s annual festival of fringe theatre, this year forming part of the Preston Guild celebrations includes theatre group 2 Boards and A Passion bringing The Many Mishaps of Mr Vinegar to The Continental on September 6. Ever had a day when everything goes wrong? Mr Vinegar’s days rarely go right! Join the lovable character on his energetic fun-filled adventures with catchy songs and puppets for a re-working of a British folk tale.

For those seeking magic and mystery, Mark James performs Jokes and Tricks at The Angel Inn.

Preston Tringe will also feature in the Guild Light Night next Friday. Offering people the chance to see Preston in a different light, the event will bring theatre, music, poetry, illusions and more to the streets of the city in a series of unusual venues. A FastTringe preview will be taking place at the Frog & Bucket from 10:30PM, giving people a taste of what is to come over the following week and a half.
