Festivals at the double for Liverpool

Homotopia is the largest LGBTQI+ arts and culture festival in the UK, and runs from November 1–10 in Liverpool. The theme is Resist! Resist!

Just before that, Liverpool Irish Festival is October 17–27 and celebrates the cultural connections between Liverpool and Ireland. Theatre is at the heart of the programme for both festivals.

Liverpool Irish Festival will include Ireland's Call by John Connors at the Royal Court Theatre Studio, The Biggest Show in the World at LJMU and Rebels and Friends at Liverpool Playhouse, whereas Homotopia will feature An evening with Travis Alabanza and Friends at Blackburne House, plus Sex Education, Nightclubbing, Retro(per)spective by Split Britches, Joan, Stars and The Gloop Show, all at Unity Theatre.
