Fetish Nights

A quartet of North West soap actors—Nikki Sanderson, Claire King, Dean Sullivan and Sue Devaney—appear in an encore of comedy play Fetish Knights at The Lowry from January 30 to February 2, following a sell-out run at the venue in 2012.

Sanderson plays fearless and feisty Maxine Minniver in Hollyoaks and was Coronation Street’s resident crimper Candice Stowe for six years. Liverpool-born Dean Sullivan played Brookside legend Jimmy Corkhill for 17 years and has recently been seen in ITV’s daytime drama Crime Stories.

Claire King played Emmerdale’s Kim Tate and Karen Betts in ITV’s prison drama Bad Girls, while Lancashire-born Sue Devaney is known for her roles as Jane in Victoria Wood’s BBC comedy Dinnerladies and as Peggy in Channel 4 drama Shameless.

Fetish Knights is described as a classic situation comedy, in an extraordinary situation. Tales and rumours of the seedy goings-on at Associates are legendary amongst 'normal' people—but is it all a front for something far more innocuous?

It’s written by EastEnders and Hollyoaks writer Rob Ellis, who will play self-obsessed narcissist Sean-John Parkinson.
