Ralph Fiennes’s world première stage adaptation of T S Eliot’s Four Quartets is transfer to London’s Harold Pinter Theatre for 36 performances, Northampton’s Royal and Derngate and Theatre Royal Bath Productions have announced.

Four Quartets opened in Bath before moving to Northampton. It is currently touring theatres across the country. It will transfer to the Harold Pinter Theatre from 18 November until 18 December.

Fiennes directs himself in Four Quartets, recognised as the culminating achievement of Eliot’s careers as a poet. It offers four interwoven meditations on the nature of time, faith and the quest for spiritual enlightenment.

The creative team features designer Hildegard Bechtler, Tim Lutkin (lighting) and Christopher Shutt (sound). The assistant director is Eva Sampson and movement director is Fin Walker.
