Over the 2014/15 pantomime season, First Family Entertainment raised £77,137.59 for the national charity When you Wish Upon A Star.
In ten theatre across the country, bucket collections took place after every pantomime performance to raise money to grant the wishes of children living with life-threatening illnesses by sending them and their families on their own fairytale adventures to Disneyworld in Florida.
The money will pay for ten families to make the trip across the Atlantic to meet their favourite fairy tale characters, and also to send children who are unable to make such a long journey to Disneyland in Paris.
Barbara White, the founder of the charity said: "this will create life-long memories for these families, which is so important to everyone involved. I am extremely grateful."
First Family Entertainment also arranged some special pantomime visits for the Wish Families. The children and their families were treated to a show, a backstage tour and a meet and greet with cast members in Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool and Stoke.
In addition to the money raised for when You Wish Upon a Star, bucket collections were also held for each theatre's nominated local charity and for the MRI Scanner Appeal at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The total amount raised by FFE and ATG of the pantomime season exceeded £100,000.
