The deadline is up, and there have been hundreds of artist submissions for FLARE17.
Artists originating from more than 30 countries including Iran, the US, Lebanon, Australia, Russia, Egypt, Brazil, Serbia, Iceland, Georgia and Mexico will be taking part in the Manchester festival hosted by Home, Contact, Royal Exchange Theatre, The Lowry and the Martin Harris Centre.
FLARE17 runs July 4 to 8, alongside the Manchester International Festival.
