Floating at the Unity

Floating at Liverpool’s Unity Theatre May 28-30 is a one-woman show about life as a high-dependency nurse in the NHS—taking in the stresses and strains but also joys.

Written after research including interviews with serving staff, the play seeks to explore how we, as a nation, treat our health service, how we regard the people who work in it and our relationship with the people around us.

Written by playwright and director Sam Freeman and performed by Susannah Freeman, Floating is a verbatim play that uses interview material.
