Hull Truck Theatre, together with the Royal Shakespeare Company, are on the lookout for local playwriting talent.
They are encouraging local people of all ages and abilities to write a play which will be considered for inclusion in a project in 2023.
Next Year marks the 400th anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare’s First Folio, the first time his 37 plays were brought together in one book. The RSC is marking this anniversary with a number of partner theatres to select a brand-new series of 37 plays that reflect the modern world.
The window for submissions opens January 1 and closes January 31.
