Libby Hall’s new play, Please, Let Me Get What I Want, debuts this October.
Set against the backdrop of Salford, over the span of a decade, an orphan and a neglected boy find their lives intertwined.
It will be the fourth play written by Salford Arts Theatre’s writer in residence and stems from a collaborative process between Hall, director Roni Ellis and the two members of cast Joel Hill and Vincent Purcell.
It was written after a series of workshops around the main themes: friendship, morality and dreams.
It runs October 6–8, with a preview performance October 5.
