1902

Set in a country riddled by failure in the sporting department, 1902 highlights the eternal hope that continues to radiate throughout Scotland.

The piece of pub theatre takes an access-all-areas approach to working-class life as four young wannabe football hooligans join a quest to see Hibs win the Scottish Cup Final.

Featuring music from the Proclaimers, Saltire Sky's ambition is to create theatre that brings stories to the people, specialising in new writing and modern classics. The has led to four sell-out runs at Edinburgh Fringe, winning the prestigious Bobby Award and the OffFest Short Run Award 2022.

Tickets for this limited tour are free, championing the company’s ethos of accessibility.

Catch 1902 at:

  • Burnley Football Club, December 6.
  • 53Two, Manchester, December 8.
