A company making its Buxton Fringe debut will be unveiling its new production which will also be taken to other festivals around the country.

6FootStories will present Soften the Grey, “a frenzied tale of life, death and life after death; and death after life”.

The company was founded by Jake Hassam and Nigel Munson after they graduated from Oxford School of Drama in 2011.

They create “bold, exciting, larger than life stories, tales that throw ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances”.

"This show has been a real labour of love for us,” says co-writer and performer Nigel Munson.

“It's been written, directed and performed entirely by us as a company and we couldn't be more excited to be unveiling it at last."

Soften the Grey will be performed at Underground Venues, The Square, Buxton on Wednesday (3 July) at 10:15PM, Thursday (4 July) at 7:15PM and Saturday, 6 July at 10:15PM.
