The Greater Manchester Fringe Festival returns for its 11th year from July 1–31 with shows and premières many already revealed here on British Theatre Guide.
Greater Manchester Fringe has become a hotbed of new performers and writers, with many showcasing work ahead of Edinburgh Fringe Festival and this year promises to be no different.
The programme is packed with more than 100 productions, including drama, comedy, music, mime, children's shows, storytelling, puppetry, visual arts, spoken word, walking tours, running tours all at affordable prices.
In addition some shows are free.
Over the years, performances have been in all sorts of unusual spaces, including camper vans, tents, Roman forts and even a crypt.
