Dan Partridge, who played Danny on the UK and Ireland tour of Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s musical Grease, will reprise the role in a 2021 tour which starts at Leicester’s Curve.
Georgia Louise will play Sandy, with Paul French as Kenickie and Tendai Rinomhota as Rizzo. They will be joined by Alex Christian as Doody, Josh Barnett as Roger, Inez Budd as Marty, Maeve Byrne as Jan, Marianna Neofitou as Frenchy, Corinna Powlesland as Miss Lynch and Cristian Zaccarini as Sonny.
Also in the cast are Alishia-Marie Blake, Thea Bunting, Kevin O'Dwyer, Laura-Jane Fenney, Jacob Fisher, Elliot Gooch, Dom Hutcheson, Haroun al Jeddal, Kalisha Johnson, Hannah-Faith Marram, Matt Trevorrow and Jacob Young.
They join previously announced Peter Andre as Teen Angel and Vince Fontaine at certain venues.
Curve’s artistic director Nikolai Foster directs and choreography is by Arlene Phillips. Design is by Colin Richmond, orchestrations and musical supervision by Sarah Travis, lighting design by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Tom Marshall.
Grease will run at Curve on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 July. It then tours to Theatre Royal Plymouth, the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, Nottingham’s Theatre Royal, Milton Keynes Theatre, Regent Theatre, Stoke, New Victoria Theatre, Woking, the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, Bristol Hippodrome, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield, Manchester Opera House, Grand Opera House, Belfast, The Alexandra, Birmingham, Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, Liverpool Empire and Wales Millennium Centre until 27 November.
