A new comedy musical Game of Souls is going to six north west theatres over May and June 2015.
After meeting in a lesser part of Hell, two demons decide to play a game of chess using humans, during which, they try to alter the course of each piece’s destiny.
It is written by comedy playwright John Waterhouse with songs co-written by Rob Smith. The show is directed by Alastair Zyggu and is presented by the Cheshire-based theatre company Casagua Productions.
The show is a satire on celebrity obsessed cultures and questions the lengths that some will go to in the pursuit of fame and public success.
Mixing music with comedy, it is aimed at all ages.
Game of Souls will be on at Thwaites Empire Theatre (Blackburn), Stockport Plaza, The Lowther Pavilion (Lytham), Halifax Playhouse, New Mills Art Theatre and Manchester Dancehouse Theatre.
