Divine knowledge: Rev Raccoon reveals all

A one-man black comedy about why some people need to keep the faith, The Life and Crimes of Reverend Raccoon will be Sheepish Productions’ third première at Buxton Fringe.

Rev Raccoon was a man of many faces: conman, soldier, father, faith healer and preacher. Then God found him. Now that he has escaped federal detention, he has made his way from the Bible belt to Buxton. He is about to deliver one of his final sermons and share his divine knowledge.

Gareth Watkins who plays Rev Raccoon made his theatre debut at the 2012 Buxton Fringe.

Sheepish Productions’ first play, Shadow on Their Wall, received a best new writing nomination in 2012. Their second play, The Last Motel, premièred in Buxton in 2013. Both sold out.

The Life and Crimes of Reverend Raccoon is at The Old Clubhouse on Friday 10 July at 3:30PM, Sunday 12 July at 5PM and Monday 13 July, Friday 24 July and Saturday 25 July at 7PM.
