Girls and lost boys needed for Derby panto

Peter PanDerby LIVE and Paul Holman Associates are looking for children to appear in this year’s Christmas productionThe Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.

Larry Lamb will play Captain Hook and George Sampson, winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008, will be Peter Pan in the show at Derby’s Assembly Rooms.

The producers will be holding auditions for girls aged between seven and 11 who must be no taller than 4ft 11ins and be the equivalent standard of ISTD grade one in ballet, tap and modern.

Boys to play the roles of John and Michael Darling and the Lost Boys are also needed. They must be aged between seven and 16, be no taller than 5ft 7ins and should have clear speaking voices and some singing and dance ability.

Successful children must live within a maximum of 30 minutes from the theatre. They must be available for rehearsals from Saturday, 24 November and be available throughout the run from Wednesday, 5 December until Sunday, 6 January.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, 16 September in the Darwin Suite at the Assembly Rooms, Market Place, Derby. Registration will be at 9.30am.
