The co-founders of the influential Chicago-based performance company Goat Island are bringing their new piece Testimonium to Live at LICA’s Nuffield Theatre in Lancaster on November 13-14.
Testimonium responds to American poet Charles Reznikoff’s unfinished Testimony, a collection of courtroom testimonies translated into poetry.
Reznikoff imagined an alternate history of the United States which included voices usually omitted from the history books.
