Golden line-up of circus acts

A range of acts from around the globe will transport audiences back to the wonders of the 'Golden Age of Circus' at The Lowry in Salford for Circus 1903 November 19–24.

It will include puppet elephants Queenie and Peanut, Ringmaster Willy Whipsnade (David Williamson), a daring duo aerial act The Flying Fredonis performed by Russian artists Dasha Shelest and Vadym Pankevych, Cuban hand balancer The Great Rokardy (Rokardy Rodriguez) and the flexible feats of Russian Rolling Ball Hula Hoopist Mademoiselle Natalia (Natalia Leontieva).

Also taking to the stage will be juggler The Great Gaston (François Borie), balancing act Rola Bola (Russian Mikhail Sozonov and Ukrainian Ievgeniia Fetkulova), Ethiopian contortionist Senayet Asefa Amare and The Daring Desafios (trio of Brazilian teeterboard daredevils).

Mongolian duo Ganbayar Munkhbat and Andryei Batbold bring their Icarian Games act and the Russian Cradle will feature performances from Les Incredibles (Ivan Formichev and Maria Boldyreva).
