See Breeze at Live at LICA

Anyone with tales to tell about Morecambe Winter Gardens is invited to contribute to a show about the venue.

Do you have any special memories of the place? Did you, or someone in your family, work there? Do you perhaps remember the night it closed?

Artists Jonathan Raisin and Elizabeth Willow are working with Live at LICA at Lancaster University to create a show called Sea Breeze about the life of the Winter Gardens. It will be shown at the venue as part of the Seaside Festival (August 31-Sept 1).

On Wednesday May 22, the team will be in Morecambe Library from 1-4PM collecting stories. Join them for a cup of tea, meet the artists and perhaps old friends, and share your stories.

If you can’t make it but still have a memory to share contact Alice Booth [email protected] or post Alice Booth, LICA, Lancaster University LA1 4YW.
