Trolley Shaped Bruise at the Unity

Trolley Shaped Bruise by Laura Kate Barrow at Liverpool’s Unity Theatre explores new found friendship and running from the marks of the past.

Kate and Danielle are in a police waiting room. The name waiting room has never seemed more appropriate. Danielle is used to waiting, stuck in a rut with a grey house and draining call centre shifts. Kate can’t remember the last time she stayed still; especially not with someone else.

Trolley-Shaped Bruise takes place over the course of the night and is a glimpse into the lives of these recent graduates who have found the real world isn’t all they had hoped it would be.
