The Russian State Ballet of Siberia returns to Blackpool Grand in 2015, bringing to life three of the world’s most beautiful and popular ballets: Coppélia, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.
The first is the charming comedy of errors, a witty combination of antics and abracadabra, set in a doll maker’s workshop.
Swan Lake is brought to life by Tchaikovsky’s haunting and unforgettable score while The Nutcracker is the most famous fantasy ballet of all time.
Formed in 1981, The Russian State Ballet of Siberia has become established as one of Russia’s leading ballet companies. Based in Krasnoyarsk, in central Siberia, the company dancers are acclaimed worldwide for their unique interpretation of both dramatic and comic roles.
