Hull Truck Theatre presents a variety of visiting work in September, from musicals to contemporary drama.
Continuing their long-standing collaboration with award-winning international arts festival Freedom Festival, Hull Truck will play host to two of their shows as part of the festival’s wider five-day programme for 2023.
Instant Loneliness (August 30–September 1) is the UK première of a musical theatre production that takes audiences from loneliness to connection.
In addition, a ‘work-in-progress’ sharing of Keli (September 1) invites audiences to listen to a story that follows a prodigiously talented but highly volatile teenager who plays in a brass band.
Grease (September 5–9) is the classic rock and roll musical from Hessle Theatre Company.
State of The Arts Academy present Les Misérables Schools Edition (September 13–16).
