1956 Theatre stage Great Expectations at The Kings Arms Theatre, Salford from March 11.
The cast of 10—Julie Parton, Ben Rigby, Ben Wolstenholme, Sarah-Jane Broderick, Emma Romy-Jones, Robert Moore, Nick Pearse, Charles Hurcombe, Amy-Jane Ollies and Lee Lomas—has extensive training, theatre and television experience.
The production will also be showcasing graduates and students of ALRA North, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Salford, Liverpool John Moores, Manchester School of Acting and David Johnson Drama.
1956 Theatre is a young company, founded in 2013, and produced a daring adaptation of 1950s film noir D.O.A. in November to critical acclaim and a sell-out run.
