The series Great West End Theatres, presented by Sir Donald Sinden and produced by Marc Sinden, will be broadcast on Sky Arts 2 from Saturday 3 August at 7PM.
The series, originally recorded to be released as a series of DVDs available from the theatres, will include the first ten episodes each focusing on one theatre in the West End of London, covering Theatre Royal Haymarket, Prince of Wales, Piccadilly, Wyndham's, St Martins, Ambassadors, Her Majesty's, Palace, Noël Coward and Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
In each episode, Sinden senior takes the viewer on a journey around the theatre building and into the history, gossip and traditions of the venue.
