Grown-up Christmas show for city's arena

Cast of Barry White Christmas

Echo Arena Liverpool has a grown-up festive show, Dreaming of a Barry White Christmas, premièring at the venue from December 17-21.

Described as a Scouse Scrooge comedy play and with classic hits from soul legend Barry White, the show stars homegrown talent: Andrew Schofield (Brick Up The Mersey Tunnels, Lost Soul, Reds and Blues, Blood Brothers), Alan Stocks (Reds and Blues, Scouse Pacific, Little Scouse on the Prairie), Paul Duckworth (Reds and Blues, Scouse Pacific, Slappers and Slapheads) Lenny Wood (Lost Soul, Night Collar, Nightmare on Lime Street) and Gillian Hardie and Keddy Sutton (Scottie Road the Musical).

This is the first ever Christmas show from Liverpool playwright Dave Kirby, who also directs. It’s aimed at ages 16+.
