The North East’s family theatre company Kitchen Zoo has teamed up with Northern Stage for Hey Diddle Diddle: A Christmas Spectacular, from November 19.
It stars nursery rhyme characters who share their own special stories and skills. With appearances from the likes of the Hickory Dickory Flea Circus and daredevil egg Humpty Dumpty.
Kitchen Zoo co-founder and director Bob Nicholson, said, “Hey Diddle Diddle has been created especially for younger audiences and their grown-ups with rhymes and lots of music, puppets and chances to join in."
Every performance is relaxed making it an ideal first theatre experience for younger children or those with additonal needs.
It runs to January and lasts 45 minutes.
