Two extra matinée performances for schools have been added to the Stafford Festival Shakespeare production of Macbeth.

SFS spokesman Tom Waldron said, “we’ve had a fantastic response since the show went on sale last year. In fact, it’s shaping up to be one of our most popular yet, with advanced sales surpassing those of previous years.

“Because Macbeth forms a major part of the GCSE syllabus, we’ve also taken several large bookings from schools based in Staffordshire and the surrounding counties.”

Macbeth will run at Stafford Castle from Thursday 28 June until Saturday 14 July. School matinées will be on 3, 5, 10 and 12 July at 2PM.
