Experience dance in a “new and exciting way”: Rambert’s Summer Livestream

Birmingham Hippodrome and Rambert have revealed that they will join together to broadcast two new dance works to audiences across the world, Summer Livestream, in July 2021.

Summer Livestream will feature Rouge by choreographer Marion Motin, which is being reworked with a “new cinematographic twist”, and a new work by siblings Marne Van Opstal and Imre Van Opstal.

The Hippodrome's director of marketing and sales, Chilina Madon, said, "Summer Livestream features two extraordinary pieces of dance, adapted for the camera and relayed live across the world.

"Rambert are known for their engaging and ambitious work and their streamed productions are no exception. I urge our audiences to join us for these live-streamed performances; they provide an unrivalled opportunity to view and experience dance in a new and exciting way."

Summer Livestream will be broadcast on Thursday 15 July at 3PM, and Friday 16 and Saturday 17 July at 8PM.
