Supporting young people: Birmingham Hippodrome

Birmingham Hippodrome is encouraging the public to help raise £20,000 as part of a campaign to support its work with young people.

The campaign is part of the Big Give Arts for Impact initiative through which any donations made will be doubled. The Hippodrome’s involvement in this campaign will help its ambition to become “the most accessible venue of its scale in the UK”.

Money raised will provide opportunities for a minimum of 200 young people to develop their creative talents through workshops. It will also give them access to Hippodrome shows.

The campaign will run from midday on Tuesday 19 March for a week. Donations can be made at the Big Give web site.
