Peter Pan, featuring international superstar David Hasselhoff, Nottingham’s own Su Pollard and children’s TV presenter Barney Harwood, is the highlight of the winter season at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall.
The panto runs in the Theatre Royal from Saturday 7 December until Sunday 12 January.
The Birmingham REP production of The Snowman, based on Raymond Briggs’s book, visits from 28 January until 1 February before Maxwell Caulfield plays R F Simpson and Faye Tozer is Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain from 4 until 15 February.
Edward Hall’s all-male company Propeller performs two of Shakespeare’s comedies, The Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, on their return to Nottingham from 18 until 22 February.
Francis Durbridge’s The Gentle Hook, which was part of the 2013 Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season, is brought back from 24 February until 1 March.
In the Royal Concert Hall, attractions during the festive season include Christmas with the Rat Pack on 4 December and Robyn North, Jacqui Scott, Scott Davies and Michael Xavier in The Best of the West End at Christmas on 19 December.
