The Day The World Came to Huddersfield

Inkbrew Productions’ The Day the World came to Huddersfield is coming to The Kings Arms in Salford, July 1 & 3.

On July 4, 1981, thousands marched through the streets of Huddersfield for the UK’s first national Gay Pride. This new production marks the 40th anniversary with drama by playwrights Stephen M Hornby, Abi Hynes, Peter Scott-Presland and Hayden Sugden.

A series of stories based on the people who attended and the unique events of the day, stories of love, political activism and friendship.
