The Rugby League World Cup 2021 Cultural Festival launches Power of Poetry across the North of England.

It’s four monumental mobile artworks which tour across the North of England until November 19, as part of the festival.

Mounted on the backs of trailers, the poems stop off at locations in and around partner cities—Newcastle, Leeds, Hull and Greater Manchester—from civic squares, to stadiums, libraries and local rugby league clubs.

Meanwhile, a new outdoor performance brings rugby league out of the stadium and on to the streets in the same cities. The free show features dance, music and aerial performance, and tells three unique stories about the game and its people.

Each story lasts 10–12 minutes with a 10-minute break before starting again, so audiences can move to the next location.
